The NexaKey NX52 is DigiMark's own house-brand online attendance terminal. That matters commercially: stock allocation, pricing, and warranty are controlled directly rather than depending on an overseas vendor's quota, which is why it is the terminal we can price hardest on a volume project.
Online is the operative word. Attendance syncs to your server continuously rather than being collected on a USB stick each week — and the moment you have more than one terminal, or more than one site, that difference decides whether the system is actually usable.

How it works on your door
The NX52 operates in two ways. Standalone: users are enrolled on the device, and it drives the door lock directly through its relay output. Networked: connected over the interfaces above, users, access rules, and attendance data sync centrally so multiple doors and branches are managed from one place.

What else you need for a complete door
The terminal alone does not make a working access-controlled door. Budget for an EM lock sized to the door (280 kg for most, 500 kg for glass or main entrances), the correct ZL or U bracket, a regulated power supply with battery backup, an exit button on the secure side, and cabling. If you only need attendance, not door control, you can skip it.
