The FlyingVoice P10P is an entry-level desk IP phone built for the majority of desks in an organisation — the staff who need a reliable, clear, two-line phone and nothing more. Why PoE matters on a real rollout
The P10P draws power from the network cable through IEEE 802.3af PoE. On a fifty-desk deployment, that removes fifty power adapters, fifty power points and a significant amount of installation labour. It also centralises power: a UPS on the switch keeps every phone alive through a power cut, which is impossible when each handset has its own adapter. Pair it with a PoE switch sized with around 20% headroom above the total phone load.
Choosing between the variants
The P10 is the identical phone without PoE. Everything else — screen, SIP accounts, codecs, conferencing, phonebook, provisioning — is identical. If your switch supplies PoE, take the PoE model; the cabling saving usually exceeds the price difference on any deployment above a handful of desks.
Deployment and management
The P10P supports auto-provisioning through TR-069, FTP/TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS and DHCP Option 66, plus FlyingVoice's free FACS and FRPS cloud platforms. A fifty-handset rollout becomes a configuration file rather than fifty manual setups. It registers to any SIP-compliant platform — 3CX, Asterisk, FreePBX, Yeastar, ZYCOO, OpenVox and most hosted providers — so it drops into an existing IP-PBX without replacing anything.
