Equipped with ZKTeco’s latest Z‑ID/ZKSilkID fingerprint sensor and ZKFinger algorithm, the FR1500S captures high-resolution fingerprint images and converts them into secure templates for fast and accurate verification. In addition to biometrics, it supports 125 kHz RFID cards by default and can be extended to HID Prox, HID iCLASS, or 13.56 MHz IC cards, giving system integrators flexibility to match different card technologies in existing projects.
For communication, the FR1500S uses RS‑485 and supports OSDP (Ver 2.1.7) and ZK‑RS485 protocols, allowing seamless integration with ZKTeco’s advanced access control systems such as the InBio Pro Plus series and other compatible fingerprint terminals. Fingerprint templates are transmitted using AES‑128 encryption, and encryption can be disabled through software when required, providing flexible deployment options based on specific security policies.
With its flush‑mounted, single‑gang box design, three‑color LED indicator, and buzzer, the FR1500S offers a neat appearance and clear user feedback during access operations. Operating from 9–24 VDC (typically 12 VDC) and within a temperature range of around −10 °C to 45 °C, it fits a wide variety of commercial and industrial environments.
