About the Project: 

The Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) is a government agency operating under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. It was created as a public-sector organization to boost the country's power sector after the emergence of Bangladesh as an independent state in 1972. This government organization is responsible for planning and developing the nation's power infrastructure and for operating much of its power generation facilities.

Project Requirements: 

As a public institution, our client is highly concerned about their visitors & employees’ safety, and any security loophole would be a threat to it. With increasing terror attacks globally coming with the growing tension among nations and geopolitical risks, it is definitely necessary to enhance the public security level to prevent loss to clients. Apart from that, they had some specific requirements for a reliable and convenient Entrance Control Solution at the entrance of the BPDB building for controlling unauthorized entry into the building premises

Function Description:

Flap Barriers:

• The FBL4000 Pro is a single-lane flap barrier turnstile series designed for smooth and silent operation and draws very little power. It’s made of stainless steel, which makes FBL4000 Pro highly durable. FBL4000 Pro barriers are normally held in a locked position, thus denying access to the secured side. Upon FBL4000 Pro’s reader (RFID and/or fingerprint) positively recognizing a user’s valid access card or fingerprint, its barriers retract upward automatically, thus allowing users passage to the secured side. Software:

• As a professional access control software, ZKAccess3.5 is designed to manage all ZKTeco’s access control panels and standalone access control terminals. The software can simultaneously manage access control and generate attendance reports. It’s a desktop software that is suitable for small and medium businesses. The brand new flat GUI design and humanized structure of the new ZKAccess3.5 will make your daily management more pleasant and convenient.

By receiving a signal from the access control system, or pushing a button, allows the entry of one person at a time. Entering in different directions is electronically controlled. The default mode is to lock the mechanism until a valid authorization signal is received. If you want to set one side free, you can adjust the mechanism. In case of emergency, the horizontal arm will drop to allow free passage. LED way mode indicators are included as standard.
