ZKTeco ProMA Series Face, Fingerprint, Palm Access Control Terminal with IP67 Rated
Most access terminals are built for protected indoor corridors. The ZKTeco ProMA Series is built for the entrances that are not: gates, building entries, factory doors, car-park access points and open-air sites where rain, dust, heat and rough handling are part of the daily routine.
The ProMA brings several ways of verifying identity into a single compact terminal. Users can authenticate by face, RFID card, fingerprint or QR code depending on the model, with optional palm authentication for sites that want a second contactless option. A binocular 2MP WDR camera captures clear faces in difficult lighting, and a supplementary light helps in low-light conditions. Authentication takes under 0.35 seconds for face and palm, so queues keep moving even at peak hours.
Built to last outdoors. The aluminium alloy housing is rated IP67 against water and dust and IK07 against impact and vandalism. The terminal operates from -26°C to 55°C, which covers the full range of conditions most sites will see.
Three models, one platform.
- ProMA: face + fingerprint + RFID, with palm
- ProMA-RF: face + RFID, with optional palm
- ProMA-QR: face + RFID + dynamic or static QR code, with optional palm
Built-in video intercom. The ProMA includes video intercom over TCP/IP using ZKTeco's private protocol or standard SIP 2.0. Staff can see and speak to visitors at the door from a compatible indoor monitor, and ONVIF support allows integration with NVRs and third-party video systems.
Large capacity. The terminal stores up to 30,000 face templates as standard, expandable to 50,000. It also holds 50,000 RFID cards, up to 50,000 users and 500,000 transaction records. The ProMA model supports 10,000 fingerprints, expandable to 50,000, and palm authentication adds up to 5,000 templates.
Complete access control features. The terminal includes access levels, user groups, holidays, anti-passback, a tamper alarm, multiple verification methods, a doorbell, a built-in web server, HTTPS/SSH backend access and photo ID display (up to 1,000 photos). It connects to a door lock, door sensor, exit button, alarm and auxiliary input/output, and supports Wiegand input and output and RS485 for expansion with a DM10 controller.
Software integration. The ProMA works with ZKBio CVSecurity for access control and ZKBio Time for time and attendance, so one device can handle both door security and attendance records.
Where it fits: factories, construction sites, industrial parks, apartment and residential buildings, offices, schools, hotels, banks, warehouses and any outdoor or semi-outdoor entrance.
