What the FHT2300D is: A Double-Lane Full-Height Turnstile Engineered for Unmanned Perimeter Security
A full-height turnstile provides a higher physical barrier than waist-height turnstiles because its rotating structure extends from the floor to full height, helping control entry without relying solely on a guard at the gate.
The ZKTeco FHT2300D Full-Height Turnstile is suited to locations where controlled, unattended pedestrian access is required, such as perimeter entrances, fence lines, industrial yards, factories, warehouses, and staff access points without a dedicated guard post.
Its full-height design is generally better suited to outdoor or restricted-access areas than corporate reception lobbies, where lower-profile flap or tripod turnstiles may be more appropriate for the entrance layout and user experience.
Key features
- Cannot be defeated by climbing or crawling — The full-height rotor is the entire argument for this product type. Nothing waist-height offers it.
- Works without supervision — Which is why it suits a perimeter, a yard gate, or a staff entrance that has no guard post. A tripod in the same position is a formality, not a control.
- Factory reader variants available — The 11 and 22 variants arrive with RFID, or fingerprint plus RFID, already fitted and tested — a commissioning step removed.
- Rated for sheltered outdoor use — ZKTeco specifies indoor or outdoor if sheltered, at 5–80% humidity. An unsheltered Bangladeshi gate exceeds that ceiling in monsoon, so a canopy is a requirement rather than a nicety.
Sizing the entrance
- Count peak-hour arrivals. Not daily headcount. A factory of 3,000 arrives across twenty minutes.
- Check the credential, not just the lane. The reader is almost always the bottleneck.
- Include one wide lane. Wheelchairs, trolleys, and beds won't fit through a standard aperture.
