What Is the NexaKey NX-V750-FW and What Does It Offer?

The NexaKey NX-V750-FW is an 8-inch AI dynamic face recognition terminal for access control and time attendance from the VERO 7 series. It recognises a face in under 0.2 seconds at 0.5 to 2.5 metres and supports face, fingerprint, 125 kHz EM card, password, and QR code verification.

• 20,000 faces and a 1.2T NPU — a site database, not a door database — Most face terminals sold in Bangladesh hold 3,000 to 10,000 templates. At 20,000, one database serves a university campus, a multi-building garment complex, or a corporate tower. The 1200G (1.2T) neural processing unit is what delivers sub-0.2-second matching at that capacity — the NPU does the work, not the CPU.
• <0.2 seconds at up to 2.5 metres — People are recognised while walking toward the gate rather than stopping to pose. At a factory shift change that decides whether you need three turnstile lanes or five — and lanes cost considerably more than terminals.
• Five faces at once — Most terminals process one face per read cycle. Handling five simultaneously is what lets a group arriving together pass without forming a queue.
• IP65 aluminium alloy — it belongs outdoors — Rated IP65 with an aluminium case rather than plastic, so it survives an exposed factory gate or an unsheltered campus entrance. This specification separates it from the VERO 5.
• Dual camera with infrared, rated for backlight — 2MP HD colour and 2MP HD infrared with Sony sensors, plus automatic LED and dual-infrared fill lighting. Rated for normal light, strong light, dark environments, and backlight. Backlight is the most common real-world failure point — a device that works in a demo room often fails at an actual glass doorway.
• Announces the user's name aloud — TTS text-to-speech broadcasts the verified name. It sounds minor until you watch a gate in operation: audible confirmation means people do not stop to check the screen, which is a real part of why the flow keeps moving.
• QR code visitor access and mask recognition — Visitors scan a QR code through the same camera — no enrolment, no card to collect back. Mask detection works both ways: it detects a mask and still recognises the face with one worn.
• Free SDK and four documented API methods — HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT/MQTTS, WebSocket and Webserver. MQTT pushes attendance events in real time rather than requiring a scheduled export. Many terminals sold here offer an SDK and nothing else, leaving your data permanently inside the vendor's software.
