The Nexakey NX-CU306-CX is the outdoor Cat6 cable of the SILVER series, built for CCTV runs that leave the building. Tougher on the route. The PE jacket takes far more crushing load than a PVC indoor cable when it is pulled over parapets and clamped to walls.

No joins. A 305 m drum gives one long run or three full 100 m runs, so there is no outdoor join to let water in.
How to install it right
Plan each run at 100 m or less from the switch to the camera. Fix the cable to walls and parapets with clips, and between poles on a messenger wire. Run it inside conduit or duct wherever the route goes underground. Leave a drip loop below the camera junction box so rain runs off the cable. Terminate with Cat6 RJ45 plugs and test each run before handing over.
Where it is used
Rooftop CCTV. Camera runs across a roof to the parapet and corner cameras.
Boundary walls and gates. Perimeter cameras along a factory, school or housing boundary.
Pole to pole. Car parks, yards and campus roads where cameras sit on poles.
Building to building. A short outdoor link between two blocks inside the 100 m limit.

Consider before buying
CCA, not pure copper. The conductor is 24 AWG CCA. For long PoE runs or tenders that specify copper, choose the NX-PT57C6. Buried routes need conduit. The cable is not gel-filled and is not a direct-burial cable. 100 m per run. Beyond 100 m, add a switch, a media converter, or fibre. PoE budget. On runs near 100 m, size the PoE budget with the installer before committing to the route.
