Dahua APOLLO BP3EW-4G: Solar-Powered 4G Security Camera for Places Without Wi-Fi or Power Cables
The Dahua APOLLO BP3EW-4G is a 4G solar security camera built for locations where running network and power cables is difficult or costly. It connects over a 4G LTE network and charges from the included 8W solar panel into a 10000 mAh (36 Wh) battery. This makes it a practical choice for shop fronts, home perimeters, farms, yards, warehouses, construction sites and other small and medium-sized properties.
Sharp 3MP full-colour imaging
The 1/2.9" CMOS sensor records at 2304 × 1296 and uses H.265 compression to keep storage and bandwidth use low. WizColor with four warm lights captures full-colour detail at night, with an illumination distance of up to 20 m. WDR helps balance bright and dark areas in the same scene.
Pan and tilt coverage
Pan 0°–350° and tilt 0°–90° let one camera cover a much wider area than a fixed camera. The 3.6 mm fixed lens gives an 81° horizontal field of view (95° diagonal).
AI human and vehicle detection
The camera identifies people and vehicles accurately and sends instant alerts to your phone. This helps cut down false alarms caused by shadows, insects or moving branches.
Sound and light alarm, two-way talk
When something is detected, the camera can trigger an instant sound and light alarm to deter intruders. The built-in microphone and speaker allow live two-way conversation, so you can speak to visitors, delivery staff or unwanted guests from your phone.
Long-lasting, non-stop power
Battery and solar charging work together for uninterrupted operation. Power consumption is just 1.22 W in Performance Mode, 0.08 W in AOV Mode and 0.008 W in Ultra Power Saving Mode. In AOV (Always-On Video) mode the camera provides all-day recording with ultra-low power use.
Built for outdoor conditions
IP66 dust and water protection and an operating range of –20 °C to +50 °C suit harsh environments. The battery charges between 0 °C and +50 °C and discharges between –20 °C and +60 °C.
Easy to install and manage
There is no need for network cabling or a professional construction team. The box includes the bracket, screws, position maps, waterproof connector and power cable. A Micro SD card (up to 512 GB) provides low-cost local recording. The free DMSS app offers live view, playback, alerts, easy sharing with family and friends, and encrypted data for secure remote access.
