Key features
AI tracking and conference-system tracking are two different things — this does both. The camera has its own AI single-person and multi-person tracking, and it also accepts tracking commands from a C-YARK conference controller over RS-232 using VISCA. The conference-system route is the more reliable of the two in a meeting, because the controller knows which microphone is live rather than the camera guessing from movement.
20× optical zoom, not digital — f = 4.95–99 mm with 20× optical. At the far end of a long council chamber, optical zoom keeps the face sharp; digital zoom simply enlarges pixels. Digital 8× is available on top where needed.
USB, HDMI and RJ45 simultaneously — USB 3.0 for a laptop running Zoom or Teams, HDMI to a room display or recorder, RJ45 for network streaming. Most rooms end up needing at least two of these, and having all three avoids a capture device.
4K at 30fps in H.264, H.265 and MJPG over USB — Three codecs from the USB port means it works with almost any conferencing software without a transcoding step. YUY2 uncompressed at 1080p is available where latency matters more than bandwidth.
255 presets with VISCA and PELCO — Standard protocols mean it integrates with third-party control systems, not only C-YARK's. 255 presets cover even a large chamber seat by seat.
Works on Windows, macOS, Android and Linux — UVC-class operation across all four, which matters when the room is used by people bringing their own laptops.

Sizing a conference system
Three numbers decide the specification: seat count, room acoustics, and whether proceedings are recorded.
Seat count — one unit per seat plus one chairman unit. Count fixed positions, not typical attendance.
Room acoustics — a hard-surfaced room with glass and tile will echo regardless of microphone quality. Treatment does more for intelligibility per taka than any equipment upgrade.
Recording — if minutes may be challenged or transcribed, specify a controller with built-in recording and the higher-grade capsule. Retrofitting recording afterwards costs considerably more.
