C-YARK CY-8700 Digital Conference Controller Ultimate Conferrence Solution

The C-YARK CY-8700 is a wired digital conference system controller (main unit), supplied in Bangladesh by DigiMark Solution as Authorized C-YARK Distributor.

Key features:

• Seven meeting modes, controlled by buttons rather than a dial — Chairman, first-in-first-out, last-in-first-out, limit, free, responder and apply-to-speak. The panel uses buttons rather than the rotary dial common on older controllers, which means a chairman can change mode mid-meeting without hunting through a menu.
• 60 units as standard, 255 with extenders — Four parallel outputs carry 20 units each. That covers most boardrooms and council chambers without an extender, and the 255-unit ceiling means a system installed for a committee room can grow into an assembly hall.
• Built-in telephone coupler — a remote participant joins by phone — Input and output ports for a telephone line are built into the controller. A participant who cannot attend dials in and is heard through the room's units, and hears the room. No PC, no internet, no platform account — which matters in a government office or a site with unreliable connectivity.
• Recording output and background music input — A dedicated conference recording output feeds a recorder without splitting the main audio path, and a background music input lets the same system play music before and after the session.

Where it is used

Boardrooms, council chambers, court rooms, training rooms and government meeting halls where a wired system is preferred for reliability.

Sizing a conference system

Three numbers decide the specification: seat count, room acoustics and whether proceedings are recorded.

• Seat count — one unit per seat plus one chairman unit. Count fixed positions, not typical attendance.
• Room acoustics — a hard-surfaced room with glass and tile will echo regardless of microphone quality. Treatment does more for intelligibility per taka than any equipment upgrade.

Recording — if minutes may be challenged or transcribed, specify a controller with built-in recording and the higher-grade capsule. Retrofitting recording afterwards costs considerably more.
